I'm toying with the possibility of doing this with a couple of my indie books and professional narrators on Amazon via audible.com and I'd love to see your comments about what you think of the idea. No CD's or cassette tapes are involved. Yet one more option to "read" a book!
At the recent PNWA Conference I attended, I learned of the growing popularity of new-generation audio books -- something you can download on your MP3 or another device and take it with you on trips, the gymn, jogs, etc., just like music playlists. My middle daughter listens to these all of the time, come to find out. Leave it to ol' Dad to be behind the curve of all things technology driven!
