Overwhelmed? Not with the proper dosage of anti-anxiety meds! At least nothing has exploded yet, but my Kevlar is close at hand. I know that the third edit will be back to me shortly, though. If you see a mushroom cloud on the horizon, it's just me venting!
The second edit of The Sheep Eater is back to the editor. You'd have thought that was enough activity in a week for a retiree, but no the fun has just begun. The youngest offspring is recovering from two major surgeries; the male child has proposed to get hitched to a gal I really like and will add two more grandkids to the mix; Numbah one son-in-law is being published as I write this and I'm very proud of him. Busy, busy, busy.

Someone near and dear to my heart mention something about "It's A Go" on here a week ago. The past week has been a blur, but the first major edit of The Sheep Eater was completed and submitted to the publisher today, as requested. I think I might need to refresh my antiperspirant!
I cannot begin to adequately describe kicking my long-dormant brain into high gear and what it does to the cellular structure. It's not pretty and it makes a grinding sound until the synapses get greased up. I'm still trying to figure out what the "check engine" light is trying to tell me. At this rate the release date for The Sheep Eater will indeed be the first Monday of July. I hope to be still be around, too! |
